Wingstop – Review

Whether you are feeling snackish or ravenous, Wingstop is on a mission to pander to your chicken cravings. Offering a menu of wings, tenders, boneless, a succulent chicken burger and generous sides. You can customise your very own wings, tenders and boneless with a choice of ten bold, distinctive flavours, which include Brazilian Citrus Pepper, Mango Habanero, Garlic Parmesan, Louisiana rub and Lemon Pepper (to name a few).

We eagerly went on down to their Cambridge Circus branch, bellies empty and ready to get our hands and faces dirty with some Wingstop flavours. The restaurant’s interior is contemporary and sleek, with two floors of seating. For a comfier, sit-down dining experience, we’d recommend heading upstairs where more seats are to be found.

Our hands didn’t stay clean for long as we dug into some sticky, sweet Korean BBQ wings, packed with flavour, along with the Louisiana rub, which turns up the heat for those looking for a kick of spice to tantalise their taste buds.

Although it was the wings we were most eager to munch on, the Succulent Big Flavour Burger was a winner, with crunchy slaw, pickles, and house ranch in a toasted brioche bun. Its crispy coating and exceptional seasoning mix brought the burger to life.

Sides include seasoned fries, loaded fries, honey mustard slaw and sweet potato fries and if you still have room for more, then finish off your meal with Churros which you can also customise. Choose a delicious crumb for your sweet treat with Oreo or Lotus Biscoff, and sauce from Sweet Milk or Caramel. Sickly sweet? Maybe, but if you have space, why wouldn’t you?

Wingstop UK has invested in creating playlists that reflect its brand values and resonate with its target audience. The staff at Cambridge Circus definitely deserve a shout-out, they were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating throughout our meal.
