The Curling Club returns to the Southbank Centre this October

Get ready to embrace the winter spirit! London’s beloved alpine-themed entertainment experience, The Curling Club, is set to return to the Southbank Centre this week, on Thursday 10th October. After an impressive four-year run and overwhelming demand, The Curling Club will make its comeback and remain open until February 6, 2025. Additionally, for the first time, the experience will launch at the iconic Vinegar Yard from November 1st, 2024 - February 28th, 2025.

At both venues, guests can look forward to the ultimate winter wonderland. Ideal for couples, families, friends, and corporate events, The Curling Club will feature state-of-the-art curling sheets, cosy decor, and an array of delicious food and drink options. New entertainment elements, including resident DJs, glitterball dancers, and live singers, will enhance the festive atmosphere, ensuring an amazing experience for all.

The Southbank Centre location, accommodating 250 guests, will continue to evoke the charm of après-ski nostalgia, making it a must-visit winter destination. Open daily from 11am to 11pm, visitors can enjoy thrilling curling competitions alongside live entertainment, music, and a selection of alpine-inspired street food and beverages from Cazcabel, Pernod Ricard, and Coors, along with seasonal cocktails.

Launching at Vinegar Yard on November 1st, 2024, this new, larger venue boasts a capacity of 600, promising an elevated winter experience beloved by fans. Conveniently located behind London Bridge Station and the Shard, next to Flea London’s Vintage and Makers market. The Curling Club has state-of-the-art curling lanes, amazing vibes and an extensive menu from vendors like Nanny Bill’s and the Untitled Sandwich Shop.

Open daily from 12pm until late, guests can indulge in a variety of winter street food and drinks, all complemented by live entertainment. For the first time, The Curling Club will introduce new granite stones used by professional curlers worldwide. These precision-engineered stones are designed for smooth delivery, enhancing control and accuracy. Built sustainably, they are durable and come with the added benefit of on-site coaches to help guests refine their skills.
