Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Launches Floral Cocktail Menu

Sheraton Grand London Park Lane invites guests to celebrate summer in style with its new floral drinks menu. The menu boasts three exciting cocktails inspired by a historic tale surrounding King Charles II and the city’s iconic Green Park, which sits just a stone’s throw away from the five-star hotel.

Rumour has it that King Charles II would take the short walk from Buckingham Palace to Green Park to pick the gorgeous flowers for his mistress. Upon hearing the news, his wife, Queen Catherine of Braganza, ordered all the flowers to be removed from the park, coining the familiar name ‘Green Park’.

The cocktail menu will be served in the art-deco Palm Court and the Park View Suites, where guests can sip on a drink and overlook the space that inspired it. Sheraton Grand’s master mixologists have encapsulated the taste of spring through wonderfully crafted cocktails, including fresh floral flavours such as rose, marigolds and carnations. The new menu includes:

The ‘King Charles’s English Rose’ is a rose-inspired cocktail that houses English rose petals, Rose liqueur, maraschino and citrus with a splash of tonic. Priced at £15

The ‘Queen Catherine’s Revenge’ is inspired by marigolds and features yellow Absinthe, yellow chartreuse, apricot brandy and is finished off with homemade marigold honey syrup. Priced at £15

And finally, the ‘Mistresses Martini’ – based on carnations, has red carnations, clarified watermelon, vodka and red carnation syrup. Priced at £17

The floral drinks are available to enjoy from 16th May until 30th September 2022. The menu will be served in the hotel’s Palm Court bar and exclusively the Park View Suites. Please visit www.marriott.com/hotels for further information.
