Quill is now open in Borough Yards

Fables & Company’s latest venue, Quill is now in operation in London’s historic Borough Yards, who are on a mission to make wine bars more approachable and immersive. This opening marks the latest chapter for the group, which has been innovating London’s bar scene for 14 years.

Centrally located at the historic riverside entrance to Borough Market, Quill is the brand’s largest space to date, offering 2,000 square feet of seating for 75 guests and a garden patio. Building on the success of its Plume & Finch brand, the wine menu offers a selection of fine wines.

The food is also a must to try, with modern British dishes like 'Sea Bass on a Bed of Leeks & White Miso Beans', a hearty 'Duck Confit Burger', and the signature ‘Golden Boy’ grilled cheese sandwich all included.

Quill joins the growing line-up of premier spots in Borough Market, like Cahoots and Angry Crab Shack, contributing to the area’s rising reputation. Designed by Sophie Bicknell of Studio Bare, the space blends old-world charm with modern style, offering interactive experiences like ‘Secret Notes’ and tarot readings.

Address: Borough Yards, Arch 232 Bank End, London, SE1 9FJ
