Easter just got a whole lot tastier at Boxcar Baker & Deli and Boxcar Bread & Wine! They’re spicing things up with their brand-new, ultra-delicious Apple & Cinnamon Hot Cross Bun. These heavenly buns come with house-made honey and cinnamon butter that melts into every bite, making them pure Easter magic.

Easter Animal Buns at Xi Home

Xi Home Dumplings Bay, on Blossom Street, Spitalfields has created a special selection of steamed buns in celebration of spring. The Easter Farmyard Collection features a beautifully decorated quartet of steamed buns: bunny, chick, lamb and cow. The sheep and bunny are black sesame flavoured inside while the cow and lamb are filled with egg-yolk custard.

Available to order and collect from the Spitalfields site and will also be available in the restaurant during the Easter weekend (18 - 20 April) for diners to enjoy. The Easter buns are priced at £7.99 each or £14.99 for two.

Gail's much-loved hot cross buns are back, bejewelled with

candied peel, cranberries, and sultanas, and infused with the warmth of cinnamon, mixed spice and grains of paradise, each bun is baked to perfection before being glazed straight from the oven with a fragrant syrup of clove, star anise, and nutmeg.
