Michelin-Starred Benares and Hakkasan align for charity this October

If you’re looking for an exclusive dining experience this autumn to celebrate your promotion, anniversary, birthday or a special occasion look no further. The multiple Michelin-starred Mayfair restaurants Hakkasan and Benares combine the cuisines of India and China in an eight-course tasting menu available for two nights only on October 3rd and 17th.

Conjuring the romance of travel on the Silk Road you will enjoy taking a culinary trip served under a live Bonsai tree with street snacks “Dumpling Discovery” pairing an Indian Momo with a Chinese Dim Sum, followed by signature dishes from both chefs Sameera Taneja and Andrew Yeo such as Peking Duck, Pani Puri, Baked Malabar Scallop, Grilled Seabass in Honey and Smoked Beef Ribs with Jasmine Tea, all finished with a Rose Cookie, a dessert symbolising the perfect fusion of these two cuisines.

The menu is available for £168 per head served with a welcome glass of champagne with all proceeds going to the NHS Charities Together for the Benares date and Action Against Hunger as chosen by Hakkasan, and is available in a vegetarian version if requested. Wine pairings and signature cocktails are available at an additional cost.
