Market Place to arrive in Vauxhall in September
Boasting 12 unique food stalls, a bar, a DJ booth and a capacity of over 200 people, Market Place takes over the Vauxhall arches opening next month. The model is simple – the concept offers up-and-coming businesses the chance to get their food in front of you within a stunningly designed space worthy of your Insta feed, located right next to Vauxhall tube station.
Restaurants confirmed so far include wood-fired pizza from Made in Puglia, Mexican tacos by Hermano Tacos, Sri Lankan hoppers and kottu from Karapincha Kitchen, and Jamaican jerk chicken and rum punch by Rudie’s Jerk Shack. Following the success of its Peckham and Hounslow locations, any foodie with their nose to the ground is sure to find a favourite.
Market Place recognises the post-covid trend of staying local and aims to open more sites across London. Blake Henderson the founder comments. “We focus our attention on London neighborhoods rather than central locations as we want to create amazing food and drink destinations on people’s doorsteps”. Vauxhall is already an interesting mix of foodie haunts, nightlife and culture – Market Place offers it all under one roof.
Market Place is opening Friday 23rd September in Vauxhall at
Open 7am until 11pm Mon – Thursday and 9am – 1pm Friday and Saturday, Sunday 10am – 10pm.
