K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask

Is your hair drier than the Saharan? More brittle than an old twig? Yep, me too. Frequent trips to the hairdressers to get my hair bleached have resulted in chemically damaged hair, but does it have to be this way?  I’ve recently noticed the amount of attention K-18 leave-in molecular repair hair mask has been getting from hairstylists, celebrities, and on social media, and with ten years of bioscience research to perfect this little tube, my interest was piqued. With their incredible biotechnology, K18 renews hair from the inside out to heal damage by repairing broken polypeptide chains (keratin chains), restoring strength, softness, smoothness, and bounce. This is a lasting solution that leaves hair looking radiant and feeling like new.

I have bought and tried Olaplex in the past, but find the whole treatment quite time-consuming, applying to damp hair, waiting ten minutes then jumping into the shower and washing out with shampoo and conditioner, it can take some time, and in my case planning. What I love about K-18 is that you apply it to your hair after you have washed it (towel-dried hair), leave it in for just four minutes and that’s it! That’s all that is needed to rebuild the proteins in your hair.

A little bit goes a long way. For long hair, two-three pumps will work. Short hair? Even easier with just one pump. After shampooing your hair, you do not need to use conditioner, as conditioner can contain silicones that will block the K-18 from entering into the hair and doing its job. After towel drying my hair, I rubbed the product lightly in my hand before applying it to my hair and combing it through, making sure the product is evenly spread.

I have used K-18 for two weeks now, and after the first application, I instantly saw a difference, my hair felt soft, strong, and shiny. After using it for two weeks, I have seen a real transformation, my hair feels repaired, looks healthy, and is incredibly soft!

Whilst it may be on the pricier side, I think the results make it worth every penny, it really does what it says on the tin! If you don’t want to invest £55 in the 50ml, you can try out the 15ml or even the 5ml first from Cult Beauty. Suitable for all hair types and textures and all ages!
