Fondue Fans flock to Lilly’s Cafe: The WInter Terrace is now open

If you’ve spent all summer outdoors and fancy continuing the al fresco trend into the autumn/winter take a trip to Covent Garden’s Piazza and Lilly’s Cafe Winter Terrace. Open now, their terrace has cosy hot cocktails, fondue, heated seats and blankets and everything you need to spend some time with friends and family.

The indulgent Lilly’s Fondue is a blend of Swiss Gruyere Cheese, Swiss Emmenthal, White Wine, and a touch of Brandy served with bread cubes and warmed new potatoes in traditional style (£25) created by former Claridge’s pastry chef Kimberley Lin.

Drinks include Lilly’s Mulled Wine (£12) with Zinfandel, maple and brandy, winter spices, fresh orange and berries to get you in the festive spirit, Amaretto Coffee (£13) made with coffee, coffee liquer and topped with caramel cream or a Sleigh Ride (£14) with Cognac, Cointreau, Orange, and Cranberry Juice topped with Champagne and garnished with rosemary (£14).

Lilly’s regular menu celebrates the use of natural and globally inspired food, together with expectational desserts and cakes from Kimberly Lin can also be enjoyed on the outside terrace.
