Cocktails in the City Returns: A Spirited Celebration of Mixology in London

This July, London's vibrant cocktail culture takes centre stage with the much-anticipated return of Cocktails in the City. Nestled in the leafy enclave of Bedford Square Gardens, this year's summer series, 'The Games Edition,' promises an unforgettable experience for cocktail enthusiasts and casual sippers alike.

Coinciding with the excitement of the Euros, 'The Games Edition' will host a thrilling Battle of the Bars. Twenty of the capital’s most renowned establishments will compete, showcasing their mixology prowess to secure prestigious titles such as Best Bar Team, Best Cocktail, and Best Bar Experience. Expect nothing less than spectacular performances from world-class bartenders and innovative mixologists, each aiming to captivate both the judges and the crowd.

This year's event will feature cleverly designed pop-up bars, each exuding the unique personality and charm of the participating venues. Among the newcomers are The Royal Cocktail Exchange, Gaia Mayfair, and Nany Spains, joining beloved favourites like Hutong, The Coral Room, and Café Pacifico. These immersive setups will offer a sensory journey, allowing guests to experience the essence of each bar through meticulously crafted cocktails and captivating ambiance.

Cocktails in the City isn’t just about sipping exquisite drinks; it’s an interactive playground for the curious and creative. Guests can participate in cocktail-making workshops, ice-carving sessions, and even build their own Palomas. These hands-on activities provide a deeper appreciation for the art of mixology and offer a chance to learn from the best in the business.

For those with a competitive streak, traditional garden games like croquet, archery, whiff-whaff, and cornhole will be available, adding a playful twist to the festivities.  The H.A.U.S Silent Disco party, with Vapoura Rum, will ensure the fun continues with vibrant energy, and will be sure to get some twinkly toes going.
