Celebrate Pride Month in style with Theatre Royal Drury Lane

This June, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, in collaboration with Disney Theatrical Group and Diversity Role Models, is presenting a series of special events and experiences in honour of Pride Month. From a uniquely themed Afternoon Tea to a special performance of Disney’s Frozen The Musical, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

To start off Pride Month celebrations, The Lane is offering a special Pride edition of its renowned Regency Afternoon Tea. This experience is available from June 1st-30th, priced at £59 per person and £20 for children, with vegan and gluten-free options available.

This features an array of treats crafted by renowned baker Lily Vanilli, including:

Sweet Delicacies: Fruit scones with jam and cream, a fluffy vanilla cake with passionfruit and buttercream, a mini sticky toffee pudding and a strawberry ice cream sandwich by Happy Endings.

Savoury Bites: Coronation chicken pie, English crumpet topped with Earl Grey-infused cream cheese and smoked salmon, and a madeleine with whipped English feta and pickled heritage carrot.

Celebrations will continue on the 28th of June, which will be a day of exclusive screenings, performances and talks. Guests can head to the Cecil Beaton Bar to enjoy decadent cocktails while watching Disney Pixar's SparkShort film "Out," alongside interviews with creatives. David Kerby-Kendall, host of Theatre Tours at The Lane, will also give a special talk. These events are free and do not require registration.

Also on June 28th, as a grand finale and highlight of the Pride Month celebrations at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, there will be a special performance of Disney’s Frozen The Musical. This performance supports the mission of Diversity Role Models to foster empathy and celebrate diversity. Here guests can also enjoy the special show-themed Ice Queen cocktail. All profits from the Ice Queen will be donated to Diversity Role Models.
