Brainstorms: A Great Gig in the Sky comes to Frameless this June
If you haven’t heard about Frameless and its incredible immersive art experiences, where have you been!. It has staged many incredible shows including Van Gogh, Dali and David Hockney to rave reviews and thousands of visitors have piled into the space to experience art in a very different way.
This June Frameless is proud to host ‘Brainstorms: A Great Gig in the Sky.’ Set against the backdrop of Pink Floyd music from the highly-celebrated 1973 album ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’, visitors will embark on a multisensory journey through four immersive galleries showcasing stunning visualisations of brain activity in response to music. This unique event will illuminate the profound connection between music and cognitive processes.
Exclusively on Friday and Saturday nights throughout June 2024, and reserved for guests over 18, this event is part of Frameless Lates, the venue’s esteemed after-hours series. The experience is a collaborative effort between the San Francisco-based Pollen Music Group and Richard Wright Music Limited. It showcases the findings of the ‘Brainstorms’ research initiative, where participants’ neural responses to Pink Floyd’s ‘The Great Gig in the Sky’ were documented last fall. The EEG data captured reflects the intricate tapestry of excitement, curiosity, tranquillity, and tension experienced during the listening session.
Tickets for ‘Brainstorms: A Great Gig in the Sky’ start at £30 and are now on sale.
