Battersea Park in Concert Returns from 24th – 26th August

After an incredible debut last year, Battersea Park in Concert is back to enchant London with a spectacular long summer weekend of picnic concerts, promising not only breath-taking live performances but an overall musical magic experience. From the 24th – 26th of August, the beautiful grounds of Battersea Park will come alive with the best of classical, West End, and jazz music, creating a harmonious symphony against the stunning backdrop of nature.

Each day of this musical extravaganza offers a unique program, blending beautiful melodies with delectable food to ensure a remarkable experience for attendees of all ages. On Saturday, Proms in the Park takes centre stage, featuring the world-famous Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Pete Harrison. The amazing Myleene Klass joins as host and special guest, promising an evening filled with timeless melodies, evocative movie scores, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

Sunday brings A Night at the Musicals, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and special guest singers, conducted by Richard Balcombe. Hosted by the Olivier Award-winning West End star Cassidy Janson, this magical evening transports audiences to the wonderful world of the West End, with over 25 songs from the ages of musical theatre. Fans of Broadway classics and showstopping solos are in for a treat.

The final day is dedicated to jazz aficionados, as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, led by Pete Long, dazzles with renditions of Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, and more. Before the jazz festivities, audiences can enjoy an afternoon of live music, featuring the London African Gospel Choir, UK jazz legends Claire Martin OBE and Ray Gelato, and the energetic Swinging at the Cotton Club, celebrating the iconic New York City nightclub of the 1920s and 1930s.

This year, KERB will curate the culinary and bar experience, ensuring a delectable selection of treats for all tastebuds. For families with young music enthusiasts, the newly introduced Kids Tipiland awaits. This giant kids tipi features interactive activities and games, providing the perfect space for children to explore their creativity and imagination.

Get ready to merge yourself in the melodies, indulge in gourmet delights, and create lasting memories at Battersea Park in Concert – where music meets magic under the open sky.
