The Lower Third – A brand new music venue in the heart of Soho

If, like us, you get fairly excitable about the prospect of a shiny new London hangout, get ready for the Lower Third which launches this November. On the site of what was previously the Twelve Bar Club, this will sate all of your new venue desires. Run by music industry figures Karrie Goldberg and Tristan Hoffman, The Lower Third will open on the ground floor of Outernet London. Between them they’ve worked with everyone from Arctic Monkeys to Madonna to Adele and Paul McCartney so expect some familiar and not-so-familiar faces.

As well as a drinks programme from Shannon Tebay, formerly of Death & Co in New York and most recently The American Bar at The Savoy Hotel in London, The Lower Third will play host to performances from new and emerging musicians such as Grace Ives, Benny Atlas and Nimmo. The drinks menu features twists on classics inspired by artists who have recorded on the world famous  Denmark Street as well as beers, wines, and boilermakers offering a bit more than a plastic pint at a gig. The venue is split into a main ground-floor bar which features a space called The Forge, and downstairs music venue the Club Room.

If you’re ready to rock out The Lower Third is open 7 days a week from 5pm. See you at the bar!
