Go up a chimney at Battersea Power Station with Lift 109

We all know views of London are spectacular, and there are so many rooftop bars and viewing platforms boasting views of London’s skyline, we’re spoilt for choice in this great city, and I love it! But if you’re looking for something a little more special, how about a view from one of the chimneys at the iconic Battersea Power Station?

Lift 109 is a must-visit attraction in London, where visitors can enter a glass elevator, taking them 109 metres to the top of Battersea Power Station’s north west chimney to marvel at the spectacular 360-degree views of the city’s skyline.

Before guests enter the lift they are treated to an immersive experience, where original records and state-of-the-art multimedia display the building’s rich history, architecture and cultural heritage. Next up rings of light and… we have to stop there, we don’t want to give it all away. Let’s just say it’s more than entering a glass lift.

We had an incredible time, soaking up the rich history and marvelling at the iconic building and views, it really is a special experience, one for all the family. And the fun doesn’t stop there, once you finish you can enjoy everything Battersea Power Station has to offer… shopping, restaurants, a cinema and much more.

Look out for ‘Lift 109 Lates’, a programme of special after-hours experiences, inside the lift. Past events include sky-high club nights, full moon manifestation workshops and book-tasting sessions.
