Babur has unveiled an exciting Valentine’s menu, diners will be offered a welcome cocktail and a sharing starter of Indian delights, before enjoying the mains of Seared Butter fish, served with Goan Xec-Xec, Potato Podimas; Organic Chicken Supreme accompanied by an Almond Rose Sauce & Coconut and Pine Nut Rice or Herb-Crusted Cannon of Lamb. Kitty Fisher’s, the romantic Mayfair institution, is pulling out all the stops and offering an unforgettable evening with an exclusive 5-course set menu on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant is set within a gorgeous Georgian townhouse, with warm low lighting and velvet furnishing, creating a beautiful romantic setting.

Diners will be treated to a glass of English pink sparkling Brut to start, followed by oysters, black tomatoes, carabineros prawns, Yorkshire beef or truffle mushroom tart and finishing with chocolate delice.

Balthazar

French restaurant Balthazar, has teamed up with Picturehouse Entertainment, to celebrate the release of the romance-filled French language film, ‘The Taste of Things’, launching a special ‘Culinary Affair’ menu inspired by dishes created in the film. The three-course menu draws inspiration from the film’s tantalising dishes.

Menu highlights include an entrée of Lyonnaise Salad with dressed frisée, pancetta, soft poached hen’s egg, toasted croutons and shallot vinaigrette, Le Pot Au Feu which pays homage to the film’s climactic dinner party and features a selection of slow cooked meats and vegetables and Pears & Cream (£8.50) with a vanilla and anis poached Williams pear, Chantilly cream, toasted almonds and chocolate sauce. The flavours and presentation of each dish will spark smiles all around.

Sette by Scarpetta
