Chop Chop By Four Seasons At The Hippodrome – Review

Located two minutes from Leicester Square Station, inside the Hippodrome casino you will find the newly opened Chop Chop by the renowned Four Seasons, offering authentic Cantonese dishes. When you enter you will be greeted with the casino and flashing lights, head to the lower ground floor and you will find the restaurant, you will feel like you have escaped the hustle and bustle of the city and discovered a quiet hidden gem.

The Menu offers so many delicious dishes, which includes the star of the show – the ’renowned Hong Kong style roast duck, named by The Financial Times as ‘the best in the world’ you will also find Char Sui BBQ Pork, Roast Crispy Pork Belly, Black Pepper Lobster and Soya Chicken.

For starters, I ordered fried calamari and dumplings. I went for the chili vegan option, filled with vegan meat and a mix of vegetables, they were fresh, flavoursome with a kick of spice. My dining partner went for the prawn and chive dumplings and commented that they were one of the best-tasting dumplings she had eaten in a while.

For the mains, we went for the classic egg fried rice, sweet and sour prawns, chicken chow mein, vegetable vermicelli noodles and vegan braised aubergine. These authentic Cantonese dishes were delicious and packed full of flavour, tantalising my tastebuds! The staff were very attentive and welcoming and we had an incredible evening dining at Chop Chop.

If you’re in central London and looking for a sophisticated authentic Chinese dining experience, I recommend Chop Chop by Four Seasons at the Hippodrome, with their extensive menu you won’t be disappointed. Chop Chop is open from 6pm until 4am, which means you can also get your Chinese food fix, into the early hours of the morning.
