Lucky Voice – Liverpool Street – Review

Tucked away in a hidden part of Devonshire Square, a very short walk from Liverpool Street is the new offering from Lucky Voice. As someone who has shied away from Karaoke bars due to an abysmal singing voice, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my visit. It was a chance to sing my heart out in on of the private pods whilst enjoying amazing cocktails and scrumptious food!

There’s a great vibe about the place with friendly, welcoming staff who were happy in catering to your needs. The cocktails were absolutely divine, and this coming from an ex-New York bartender is certainly saying a lot. My favourite has to be the tropical Rum flavoured “Gold Digger” followed closely by an appletini-type cocktail “Green light district”  which was very fresh. The food menu is just as impressive with a good variety of small plates and pizzas that would satisfy even the fussiest of eaters. The Buffalo cauliflower “wings” with hot sauce are definitely worth trying.

Following copious amounts of cocktails, I braved the singing booth, where my wannabe  “Mariah” burst through, resulting in a certain amount of microphone hogging. The booths had everything you need, from a “thirsty” push button for more cocktails along with USB outlets for the inevitable low battery situation from recording far too many next day cringe worthy videos…

Looking for an evening of fun, laughter and singing until your heart’s content? Lucky Voice is the place to be. You can book a private room for yourself if you’re feeling brave or with up to 30 of your mates. Where you can browse the 11,000+ song catalogue – covering everything from current chart hits to old-school classics.
