PARIS: Hotel Rose Bourbon – Review

Staying in Paris is exciting, there is so much to see and do, but it can come with a hefty hotel bill, which can be very off-putting for some. We found an affordable yet chic and stylish hotel called Hotel Rose Bourbon that we definitely recommend for a short stay in Paris and if you book well in advance, you can get a double room for less than a £100 a night! The hotel has 39 rooms decorated in an Art Deco style with contemporary elements designed by interior designer, Élodie Lenoir of EL’LE interior stories.

The hotel is 3 minute walk from Felix Faure metro station, making it really easy to get to the metro to the hotel from the airport or main international train stations. As we walked in with no expectations of what this three-star hotel would be like, we were pleasantly surprised with how modern and stylish the reception was with an Art Deco feel. Dark sumptuous blue walls with marble panelling, beautiful stripy floor tiling to create some contrast and comfy and inviting chairs to sit on. We checked-in fairly quickly and took the lift to our room!

The decor inside the room was a real treat! No dated bedsheets with drab curtains, instead we were greeted with a monochrome designed room, the walls displayed an interesting geometric design, the bed was a king size, which is always a massive bonus and was very comfy and it had a little area for your luggage, belongings, an elegant dressing table and a shelving unit for clothes and any other belongings.

Yes it may have been on the smaller side, but this room was everything we could have asked for, it was clean, modern and very stylish! The rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a fridge, a kettle, a hairdryer and a desk. The toilet and shower room runs the same decor throughout, monochrome and stylish. The hotel offers a continental breakfast for guests but because we were only in Paris for two nights, we wanted to explore as much as we could, and opted for getting freshly baked croissants and coffees from the Parisian cafes.

The Eiffel Tower is a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel, which we felt was a short walk away and it allowed us to get familiar with the area. With the metro station being so close to the hotel it is very easy to get to all your desired attractions and locations. Looking for a modern and chic hotel to stay in that won’t break the bank, Hotel Rose Bourbon is the place to book!
