Marvel partner with Kith for Spider-Man’s 60th anniversary in Selfridges

In celebration of Spider-Man’s 60th Anniversary, Marvel has partnered with global lifestyle brand Kith to honour Spider-Man’s 60th anniversary, as interpreted through the Kith lens, with a special edition pop-up in London.

Opened on 15th July in Selfridges, the pop-up will present a special installation featuring archival artwork captured from six decades of the Super Hero, as well as an apparel collection that shows the evolution of the character and a range of accessories including skateboard decks, iconic posters, hats, and more.

Archival artwork from the Spider-Man comics were used to create a collaborative collection of adults and kids’ apparel and accessories to showcase the evolution of the iconic character. The collection features an assortment of specially designed apparel inspired by Spider-Man, including intarsia knit sweaters, cotton fleece hoodies, and a range of vintage washed long sleeve and short sleeve tees.

The 16-piece kid’s offering features similar artwork seen on the adult products. The apparel silhouettes include lounge sets, intarsia knit sweaters, hoodies, and tees. The accessories include an assortment of headwear, as well as lifestyle goods such as skateboard decks, posters, and puzzles.

As part of the partnership, a new Marvel | Kith Spider-Man 60th Anniversary Comic Book is being released that features an original storyline and previews upcoming unreleased Kith collections. The limited edition comic tells the story of Spider-Man trying to stop Doctor Octopus and his robot army from wreaking havoc on his hometown of New York City, and features cameos from other characters including Iron Man, Tinkerer, and Ronnie Fieg.

The Spider-Man pop-up in London be found on the men’s floor in Selfridges and is located at 400 Oxford St, Marylebone, London W1A 1AB. It will remain open while supplies last. To shop at the pop-up, customers can pick up a wristband from the Duke Street entrance.
