Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair – January 30th

The best vintage fair is back in London, and this time on the 30th of January, between 11am and 5pm at the Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden. The 1st of seven fairs in 2022, the event will be 6 whole hours of vintage heaven. You can browse through the fabulous collections of over 50 of the very best dealers in vintage fashion, accessories, trimmings and textiles and shop for vintage looks from the 1900’s onwards, alongside pre-loved designer labels from Biba, Ossie Clarke and Dior to YSL, Chanel and more.

The fair is a favourite among designers, stylists, costume department gurus, celebrities, students, vintage lovers and conscious fashion buyers alike. It’s also the perfect place to take your treasured period piece or preloved treasure to be altered or restyled on the spot, by an expert alteration team.

The UK is the fourth-largest producer of textile waste in Europe producing 206.456 tonnes of textile waste per year. That equates to around 3.1kg of textile waste per year per person, of which some 1.7kg ends up in landfills. However, shopping vintage is one way to combat this issue, and the fair is the perfect place to exercise your ethical consumer ways! Entry prices are £3 for students and £5 for adults, and although there will be some entry tickets on the door, due to Health and safety measures it is advisable to book your entry slot as the number of visitors in the building will need to be monitored.

Freemasons Hall is conveniently located between Holborn and Covent Garden tube station. There is ample free parking in the surrounding area on Sundays and an NCP car park in Parker Mews. There will be food and refreshments served all day in the cafe and bar so you can take a well-earned rest with your friends between browsing.
