OKA reveals interiors pop-up at Old Sessions House

Interior lovers you are in for a treat! Luxury furniture and home accessories brand OKA will unveil a two day immersive pop-up at the Grade II-listed courthouse, Old Sessions House, in Clerkenwell. Guests will be treated to a series of workshops, talks and masterclasses from renowned creatives; Willow Crossley, Fiona Leahy and Hermione and Ellie Gee to help inspire and get your creative juices flowing. Look out for the faux flower arranging session and lampshade painting workshop.

Enjoy an immersive ‘Five Star Dive Bar’ experience at Lyaness 

Barcelona’s highly acclaimed Cocktail bar Two Schmucks, in collaboration with DEWAR’S Whisky, will be taking over cocktail bar Lyaness, for an immersive ‘Five Star Dive Bar’ experience. 

Transporting guests for two nights only, Two Schmucks will bring its style, music and ‘flavour is king’ ethos to Lyaness with an exclusive cocktail menu using DEWAR’s innovative Cask Series whiskies. Two Schmucks features elegant touches of white mosaic tiles, foliage and a high vaulted ceiling, juxtaposed with the eccentricity of random hanging shoes, spotlights illuminating drinks on the bar, and an eclectic mix of artist and skate brand stickers and signatures on the wall. 

Guests of the pop-up can expect a taste of this alongside Two Schmucks’ signature energetic, party-hard service, a Hip Hop soundtrack curated by the team, and special performances. It’s going be a night you won’t want to miss.

Immersive 30-minute spa & showering escapade at the #Showergasmic Salon

The #Showergasmic Salon pop-up is treating guests to a shower like no other! Pleasure and warm water therapy are paired with the intensity of Original Source natural fragrances. So come along and indulge in a complimentary mud mask treatment, followed by a fun-themed shower room. There are three multi-sensory showers to choose from – Tingly Tease, Coco Climax or Zest is best, to awaken all five senses. 

Look out for the Shower Sutra pose guide (created by professional wellness expert), refreshments and interactive photo opportunities. There’s even a goody bag up for grabs at the end.

Fitness First teams up with Ministry of Sound to host three TraX classes

Fitness First has joined forces with Ministry of Sound to host a night of fitness like no other! On Tuesday 12th October between 6-8pm, Fitness First Tottenham Court Road will host three TraX classes, their newest, and possibly most demanding, high intensity class.

Bring your A game to the assault bike and rower while a world renowned Ministry of Sound DJ gives you the beats you need to beat your personal best. It’s going to be a go hard or go home kind of night!

Heckfield Place pops up at Frieze Masters 

Luxury hotel Heckfield Place will host a pop-up restaurant at this year’s Frieze Masters art fair in Regents Park, overseen by Culinary Master, Skye Gyngell, a celebration of the best seasonal produce from Heckfields bountiful 400-acre estate, Skye’s simple and heartfelt menu harvests produce from their biodynamically certified Market Garden and organic Home Farm.

The Masterful menu will include:

  • Tagliatelle with Heckfield Home Farm Cream, Green Garlic and San Danielle / Salad of Persimmon, Autumn Leaves, Straciatella, Walnuts and Fennel Oil
  • Guinea Fowl with Griolles, Spinach and Winter Savoury Hollandaise / Wild Sea Bass with Potatoes, Leeks, Flowering Thyme and Aioli
  • Hazelnut and a Pear Tart with Espresso / Green Mandarin Sorbet with Meringue, Heckfield Home Farm Cream and Candied Ginger

Floral installation extraordinaire, Kitten Grayson will be co-ordinating an Autumnal vibrancy to the space with freshly cut flowers sourced from Heckfield’s cutting garden. Think earthy squashes, bracken and reships in large vases, and impressive dried flower arrangements.
