As the evenings start to draw in and the days are getting crisper, making wholesome weekend plans seems all the more appealing. Kaleidoscope: A Celebration of colour, is a free pop-up art gallery hosted at 14 Porchester Place in Connaught Village, curated by Robin Dutt. It finishes its limited run this weekend so don’t miss out! You’ll be able to attend Thursday 7th – Sunday 10th October – the free exhibition celebrates the life of artist Halima Nałęcz and also showcases a selection of handpicked artists’ work.

14 Porchester Place in Connaught Village is a neighbour gallery to 5 Porchester Place, the original site of Halima’s most renowned gallery, Drian. At the start of September this year, Westminster City Council installed a Green Plaque in honour of the life and legacy of the artist. The Westminster Green Plaque scheme commemorates the diverse cultural heritage of Westminster and the people who have lived or worked in the borough.

Kaleidoscope: A Celebration of colour is a celebration of the plaque installation – visitors can expect a collection of vibrant and strikingly colourful works! The artists have all been handpicked for the way they demonstrate their differing passions and utilise the variance and power of colour.

This weekend is the last weekend that the exhibition will run. Visiting days are Thursday – Sunday and the exhibition will be open between 10 am & 6 pm – everyone is welcome!
